And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. 8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!”
9 For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish which they had taken; 10 and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men.” 11 So when they had brought their boats to land, they forsook all and followed Him.

THREE CYCLES OF RESISTANCE THAT WILL SUBMIT TO THE CYCLE OF OVERFLOW
1. FLESHLY RESISTANCE

2. WORDLY RESISTANCE

THREE PROPHETIC INVITATIONS FOR 2025
1. THE LORD IS INVITING EAST GATE INTO THE OVERFLOW OF HEAVEN’S REVELATION

The Lord wants to OVERFLOW (break through and tear down) every stronghold in our minds that prevents us from knowing Jesus rightly

The Lord is inviting East Gate to find and root our identity in the OVERFLOW of the revelation of God
We are SONS of GOD THE FATHER
We are the BRIDE of JESUS CHRIST
We are the TEMPLE of HOLY SPIRIT

There is an enemy that RESISTS us mercilessly, but in 2025 the cycles of resistance (theft, murder, and destruction) will submit to the cycle of OVERFLOW
In 2025, Health will not just “trickle down,” it will OVERFLOW!
The MEN of East Gate will FORTIFY

In 2025 Jesus desires to teach us how to find VICTORY in, and through, Him
HOW DO WE ACCESS THE OVERFLOW OF HEAVEN THIS YEAR?
The Cycle of OVERFLOW

THE CYCLE BEGINS WITH A NEED
SIMON SPENT ALL NIGHT FISHING AND CAUGHT NOTHING
Our need is not God’s ISSUE, it is His ENTRANCE
Our NEEDS do not scare, or surprise God, they attract Him
Jesus saw Simon’s boat, empty and in NEED of fish, and entered
When we ask the Lord to meet our NEED, we’re not asking God for we’re not asking God to do something new, He already gave us EVERYTHING we would ever need

If we WALK with Holy Spirit, the enemy can only resist us for SO long
If the devil hasn’t won in heaven, he CANNOT win on earth
This is why we should be praying daily, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on EARTH as it is in HEAVEN
A NEED IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO GROW IN ANOINTING AND TRUST

The pressing NEED in our lives today, will produce the fresh oil/wine for tomorrow
An oil/wine that He wants to pour out over your life, a oil/wine that only has your name on it
The pressure you’re feeling because of your NEED is what is producing your NEW and personal oil/wine/anointing
IN THE KINGDOM A NEED IS NOT A PROBLEM, IT'S A PRIVILEGE
Our NEED leads us to our KING!

The NEED reminds God’s sons how much they NEED their FATHER
The NEED reminds Jesus’ bride how much she NEEDS her GROOM
The NEED reminds Holy Spirit’s temple how much we NEED our SPIRIT
OUR NEED MUST BECOME “A SEEK”
YOUR NEED WILL NEVER BE MET UNTIL YOU LEARN HOW TO SEEK FOR IT TO BE MET

WE MUST LEARN HOW TO SEEK WHAT WILL TRULY MEET AND SATISFY OUR NEEDS
Worry and complaint is NEVER the answer, take the NEED to God in prayer AND fasting
We SEEK God in prayer, fasting, the word, and PATIENCE
The 1st Test || IDOLATRY
If you’re not actively SEEKING the Lord to meet your NEEDS, it is because your NEEDS are being medicated by idols
God is not obligated to bless anything that is conceived outside of His presence!
If you don’t SEEK God to meet the NEED, fear will plant its seed into your heart and it will bring forth idols
NEED for inner healing, when seeded by fear, will birth the idol of secret addiction
NEED for provision, when seeded by fear, will birth the idol of mammon
NEED for love and acceptance, when seeded by fear, will birth the idol of jezebel/orphan spirit
NEED for forgiveness and righteousness, when seeded by fear, will birth the idol of religion
We must be careful here, that what we SEEK is not just the meeting of our NEEDS, but He Who meets every NEEDS

OUR SEEKING MUST RESULT IN PREPARATION
THE PREPARATION IS OUR JOB, THE RESULTS ARE GOD’S

A mark of the TRUE bride of Christ is obedience to His word - John 14:15
If you are not PREPARED when the time comes, you miss out, not God

16 And he said, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Make this valley full of ditches.’ 17 For thus says the Lord: ‘You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.’ 18 And this is a simple matter in the sight of the Lord; He will also deliver the Moabites into your hand.
How many ditches do I need to dig?
As many as you want FILLED!
2 Kings 4:3-6 New King James Version
3 Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. 4 And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.”
5 So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. 6 Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.”
And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased.
How many jars do I need to borrow?
As many as you want FILLED!
Simon was told to LAUNCH out into the deep and then cast his net, what would have happened if he remained in the shallows?
Would he have FILLED his net with as many fish?
IF WE PREPARE, GOD WILL POUR OUT
My faithful PREPARATION determines God’s supernatural POUR!
The SECOND TEST || Grumbling
What comes out of your mouth as you prepare?
Remember, God responds directly to HOW you prepare
Simon calls Jesus, Master, and submits to Him in obedience
Nothing will hold you back from faithful PREPARATION like holding back your praise
Complaining and grumbling push Holy Spirit away and draw the demonic near
Grumbling is the fastest way to exit the cycle of overflow
AFTER WE PREPARE THE LORD POURS
POURING IS WHAT YOU CAN MEASURE BASED UPON HOW MUCH YOU PREPARED
When heaven pours something out on your life you can measure it
Simon caught a “great number,” of fish
His nets were FULL - He had one FULL net of fish
THE 3RD TEST || Pride
When you can measure the miracle, you have two choices
Pride or humility!
Pride will take you out of the cycle of OVERFLOW
Look what God did because of MY faith, intercession, faithfulness, etc.
Why would God keep POURING out what you keep taking credit for?
Humility, praise and gratitude will keep you in the cycle of overflow
UNGRATEFUL people are UNCLEAN, and thus UNQUALIFIED for the assignments of God

21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like [a]corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. 24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,
What was Simon’s response? HUMILITY!
Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, OH LORD!
“I didn’t do this on my own! I couldn’t! I am not worthy of this OUTPOURING!”
THE OVERFLOW
OVERFLOW IS THE OUTPOURING OF AN UNSTOPPABLE GOD INTO A PREPARED AND UNWORTHY VESSEL
God is not limited by our ability, but by our availability
Simon caught more fish than he could handle, more fish than he and Andrew could handle, more fish than he, Andrew, and James, and John could handle!
This was not a result of Simon’s ability, he fished all night and caught NOTHING
This was a result of Simon’s availability, even though he already left his boat and was cleaning his nets, he made himself AVAILABLE for Jesus
Simon fished ALL night
He was probably EXHAUSTED, finishing up so he could get some sleep
Jesus asked Simon to STOP what he was doing to HELP Jesus do what He was doing
Finally, Jesus tells Simon to get BACK OUT and start fishing AGAIN
THE OVERFLOW IS IMMEASURABLE!
Ephesians 3:20 New Living Translation
20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
More than we ask for, more than we could imagine!
God wants your life so FULL of the REVELATION, LIFE, and VICTORY of Heaven that it OVERFLOWS!
Your spirit
Your body
Your finances
Your mind
Your relationships
TOO MUCH & THE NEW NEED
The Lord sends immeasurable OVERFLOW to ensure that you do not receive the glory for what He releases
It’s not for your glory, but His
It’s not only to meet your NEED, but to do even more than you could ask or think!
This ALWAYS results in a NEW NEED!
Simon’s nets were breaking
Both boats were sinking
All hands were needed on deck
OVERFLOW will break everything in your life that is not from Heaven
Jesus asked one to PREPARE, but allowed everyone who partnered with him into the OVERFLOW
Don’t be AFRAID when things start breaking, the new NEEDS keeps you walking on the cycle of OVERFLOW
The OVERFLOW brought Simon, Andrew, James, and John deeper into their TRUE identity and assignment
From fishermen to fishers “OF” men
When they brought their boats to land they forsook all and followed Him
The cycle of OVERFLOW will break your old ways, idols, dysfunction, etc.

Be QUICK to forsake what Jesus breaks in your pursuit of the Lord
THE CYCLE OF OVERFLOW IS ABOUT MORE OF JESUS IN OUR LIVES, NOT ELIMINATING OUR NEEDS
