First Sunday || Highway of Holiness
Revelation 1:1-19 NLT 10 It was the Lord’s Day, and I was worshiping in the Spirit. Suddenly, I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet blast. 11 It said, “Write in a book everything you see, and send it to the seven churches in the cities of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.”
12 When I turned to see who was speaking to me, I saw seven gold lampstands. 13 And standing in the middle of the lampstands was someone like the Son of Man. He was wearing a long robe with a gold sash across his chest. 14 His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow. And his eyes were like flames of fire. 15 His feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace, and his voice thundered like mighty ocean waves. 16 He held seven stars in his right hand, and a sharp two-edged sword came from his mouth. And his face was like the sun in all its brilliance.
17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as if I were dead. But he laid his right hand on me and said, “Don’t be afraid! I am the First and the Last. 18 I am the living one. I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave.
19 “Write down what you have seen—both the things that are now happening and the things that will happen.
2026 IS THE YEAR OF HOLINESS
2026 is a Year to Fix Our Attention On Jesus [The Holy One of God]
2026 is a Year to Break ALL Unholy Alliances [Idols, gods, kings, & relics of past kings]
2026 is a 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 Year [God of Peace, will make us Holy!
The Lord has given us 4 Prophetic Invitations:
2026 will be a Year of Suddenlies!
Where we will experience sudden breakthrough, sudden return/fulfillment of prophetic dreams, visions and sudden encounters with the GLORY OF GOD!
2026 will be a Building Year!
We will intentionally build it all around Him!
2026 will be a Year of Greater Intimacy!
We will know and love Jesus more as He reveals more of Himself to us.
2026 will be a Radical Year!
Radical encounters, devotion, transformation, surrender, worship, allegiance and witness
*All this will happen as we fix our eyes on Jesus Christ, THE HOLY ONE OF GOD!
Holiness = Wholly His
Holiness is a Life Fully Yielded to Jesus
Holiness is a life lived in pursuit of Jesus
In 2026 We will cry out like Simon Peter = John 6:68-69 New Living Translation
68 Simon Peter replied, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life. 69 We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God.”
Jesus has been leading us on the Highway of Holiness all along. We are just now becoming aware of it!
What is the Highway of Holiness?
Isaiah 35:8 New Living Translation 8 And a great road will go through that once deserted land. It will be named the Highway of Holiness. Evil-minded people will never travel on it. It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways; fools will never walk there.
Since Eden, It has Been God’s Desire to Walk with Humanity [Genesis 3:8] (God walks the Garden in search of Adam and Eve)
Jeremiah 6:16 [Ask for the old godly way, and walk in it]
Matthew 7:14 [Narrow is gate and difficult is the path that we must walk, few ever find it]

The Embrace of Holiness
The Manifestation [Fruit] of Holiness
Believers have been on the Highway of Holiness all along. We just may not be aware of it.
It has been deserted by many.
Fools never walk it. (Jesus invites all to the highway, he beckons us all, few accept the invitation)
The wise never leave it.
Those who choose to walk it, walk in God’s way.
The Lord has made a way for all to walk on it! We must accept the invitation.

How far are you willing to travel?
How deep are you willing to go?
How lost in Jesus are you willing to get?
The road is difficult, not commonly traveled, only a few find it and choose to remain on it!
If you have found it, remain on it and choose to get caught up in it!
If not, Jesus beckons you today to start walking on it!

CHALLENGE: Rev. 1:19 “Write down what you have seen—both the things that are now happening and the things that will happen.”
Record your highway of holiness moments. The ones that have happened and then ones that will happen.
Thank Him for these moments.
Ask Him to continue to lead you on His Highway of Holiness!
This year we desire greater revelation, embrace and manifestation of the HOLY ONE OF GOD!
